That thing where people over-pluck eyebrows and call it 'cleaning them up'
I keep seeing clients come in with those super thin, disconnected brows that look like they were drawn on with a fine point marker. It's like everyone forgot that eyebrows are supposed to have a natural shape and some thickness to them. I get it, we all want a polished look, but when you take away too much from the inner corners, it throws off your whole face balance. I had a girl in my chair yesterday who confessed she uses a magnifying mirror and tweezers every single night because she thinks any stray hair looks messy. The problem is, she's been doing this for two years now and some of those hairs just stopped growing back. Now she's stuck filling in gaps with pencil every morning. Has anyone else seen this trend go too far and had to gently talk a client out of the tweezer habit?
