My friend insists on pausing a bad movie every 5 minutes to explain the plot holes
I love a good bad movie night with my crew here in Chicago, but one guy in our group has this habit that drives me up the wall. He hits pause every few minutes to point out something that doesn't make sense, like why the alien ship has a doorbell or how the hero survived a fall from a cliff. I get it, the movie is supposed to be bad, that's the whole point of us watching it together. But the constant stopping just kills the vibe and we end up spending more time arguing about logic than laughing at the absurd green screen effects. Last week I timed it and he paused the movie 12 times in 30 minutes for The Room, which is basically a masterclass in bad decisions. Has anyone else dealt with a friend who can't just let a terrible movie play out naturally?
