inPSA: I was cleaning my extraction tool wrong for MONTHS
My old extraction tool probably had its own little ecosystem living in the handle. I was doing the same thing, just wiping the loop, until a client asked if I was using a new pressure technique because her skin felt rougher. Turns out I was just pushing old gunk back into her pores. I felt so gross when I finally unscrewed the end cap and saw the buildup. It’s one of those things you don’t think about until someone points it out, and then you can’t unsee it. I’m just glad she said something instead of quietly never booking again.

inI thought the 'lost city' in the Amazon was just a story until last year
Totally get that shift from thinking it's all hype to seeing the real proof. It happens with so much now, not just old cities. You see a wild headline and just assume it's clickbait until the real data comes out. Makes you wonder what else we're totally wrong about because we haven't looked hard enough yet.

inThat one job where the new guy crashed the machine into the vise
Oh man, that sound is the worst! We had a guy run a drill straight through a titanium part and into the tombstone last month. Snapped the tool holder right off, and the whole table jumped. The silence after was so heavy, you could feel everyone just stop breathing for a second. Boss walked over, looked at the screen, and just said "well, that's not right" in the deadest voice. Totally killed the afternoon.
