What did your grandpa write on them exactly? Like just names and dates or did he add little notes too? Curious if the box made you see the photos different or just made you feel bad for tossing the idea.

Man, my buddy ran a shop down in Tulsa and had the opposite problem. His digital wrenches kept logging fine but he stopped trusting the numbers because nobody was actually feeling the pull anymore. One guy snapped a head bolt and the log showed everything was perfect, so who do you believe? Turns out the wrench was fine, the guy was just rushing and never noticed the wrench click over because he was watching the screen. With the old click style your hand and ear caught that stuff. The computer might be smarter but it can't tell you the guy holding it is having a bad day.
