DAE feel like gadget reviews skip over the stuff that actually matters?

Honestly, I bought a new e-reader after reading a ton of reviews about screen sharpness. Tbh, none of them mentioned how heavy it was to hold for long. Ngl, my hand gets tired after twenty minutes. Now I wish more reviews talked about comfort instead of just tech specs. It really changed what I look for in a review.

My phone's drop test fail got me into how we judge gadget breaks

I was testing a new phone and it slipped from my hand onto concrete. Screen cracked right away. Now I look at durability reviews differently. Some sites use fancy machines that drop gadgets from set heights. Other reviewers just talk about their own accidents. I learned that machine tests are repeatable and fair. But my own drop had things like angle and surface that machines might miss. So which way gives a better picture of if a gadget can take a hit? I think personal stories matter more, but labs have their place. What's your take on this?

Warning: I still think physical buttons beat touchscreens on most gadgets

Just got my old multimeter fixed instead of buying a new touchscreen one. Most reviews say touch is better, but I can use this with work gloves on during jobs. Three years in, it still gives perfect readings, which feels like a win when everyone's sleek gadgets fail.
