inMy uncle still uses 'Password123' for everything and got mad when I showed him his email was pwned
Honestly @the_seth, you kinda changed my mind with that unlocked door thing.

inTook my sled through a beaver pond last Tuesday and it did not end well
@jackson.sarah I get where you're coming from but I actually disagree a little. Some of us do learn, it just takes one really bad day to make you pay attention. In my experience, once you've spent two hours in freezing water with a come-along, you start looking at every puddle different. Your mileage may vary but I think there's a difference between making a mistake once and making the same mistake over and over. That beaver pond story is exactly the kind of lesson you remember every time you see dark water on a trail. So yeah, sometimes you gotta wreck something expensive to learn.

inWatched a guy at a Portland art walk try to sell AI art as 'traditional hand-drawn'
...and here's the thing that really gets me about these situations, you know? I mean, the guy clearly knew what he was doing was wrong if he got that flustered. But what's the play here for the buyers? Like, are people actually looking at these prints and thinking "yeah, that's definitely hand-drawn" or are they just not paying attention at all?

inWarning: Don't let your sled sit on cheap pads for a season
Oh come on, you pressure washed it for an hour and it came off, so what's the big deal? Rubber pads leave marks sometimes, but that's what a little elbow grease is for. Sounds more like a minor inconvenience than a real problem.

inMet a guy at a con who only reads single issues, never trades
Nah, the point is the anticipation, not just the story. Different thing entirely.
