I was really stressed about how much we were spending on ground beef every week. In my experience, mixing in cooked lentils with the beef helps it go further and still tastes good, your mileage may vary. Has anyone else tried this with other types of beans or veggies?
I was totally annoyed staring at just a can of beans and some old spices. But I fried them up with a bit of oil and garlic, and it tasted way better than I expected. What do you guys do when you're trying to eat with almost no cash?
