I chose engagement groups and gained 200 followers in a week, but none of them actually cared about my content. My videos got 0 comments after the group boost ended. Has anyone else dealt with fake engagement groups that feel helpful at first but totally ruin your algorithm?
I usually just throw up a listing whenever I have a free minute, but last Tuesday I set an alarm and posted a house tour video at exactly 6:15am. By Friday that one post had 4,000 views, which is like 10x my normal reach in the Cincinnati area. Anyone else find that posting at weird early hours gets you way more traction than the "optimal times" everyone talks about?
So I started posting before and after shots of houses I cleaned (dust bunnies, mystery stains, the whole deal) and somehow rolled past 1,000 followers last week. I thought the algorithm would finally kick in after that milestone but my reach actually dropped for three days straight. Did anyone else hit a number like that and then feel like the platform clapped back at you? I'm just trying to figure out if I should change up my hashtag game or post at a different time.
