My local comic shop had a total meltdown over a grading debate last Saturday

I went to pick up my pull list and two guys were yelling about a 9.8 versus a 9.6 grade on a new Spider-Man book. One guy said, 'You can't even see the flaw without a magnifier!' and threw his coffee cup in the trash. The owner had to step in and tell them to take it outside. It was a bad look for everyone just trying to buy books. Has your shop ever had a scene like that over something so small?

Question about a weird pattern with streetlights going out

I started noticing this about six months ago. I'd be driving home late, maybe after a long day, and a streetlight would go out right as I passed under it. I wrote it off as a fluke, but then it happened again the next week, and again. I told my friend about it, and he said, 'You're not special, it's just old bulbs.' But I kept a rough count, and it's happened at least 15 times now, always on the same stretch of road near my place. It got me thinking maybe I was focusing on it too much, making it seem like a pattern when it wasn't. So I changed how I drive home. I started taking different routes, or I'd try not to look at the lights at all. On the new routes, it doesn't happen. But if I go back to that old road, it starts up again. Has anyone else had a specific spot where stuff like this just... lines up?

Got a thumbs-up from the engineer on my latest layout

Was working on a floor plan for a new project. The engineer said it was clear and easy to read, which made my day. I used a new layer system to keep things organized.

PSA: My cheap foam prop idea was a total disaster

I used to think spray painting craft foam was a smart way to save cash on armor pieces. That changed when our lead actor's chest plate cracked in half during a fight scene. The paint made the foam brittle and it just snapped. We lost a whole day reshooting because of it. Never skimp on materials for anything that needs to move.
