inWalked into a Best Buy in Boise last Saturday and their whole TV wall was zip tied to one giant power strip
gave up untangling it a year ago" is exactly why you shouldn't copy them. That giant strip in Best Buy is a fire waiting to happen and nobody there cares because it's a store, not a home. If one TV shorts out, the whole wall dies and they just shrug and call a guy. At your desk, one sketchy strip with every charger, monitor, and lamp plugged in means you're rolling the dice every time you leave the house. Do it right, spend twenty bucks on a couple strips and some velcro ties, and you'll never think about it again.

inA finisher in Tulsa handed me his edger and told me to feel the slab before I touched a float, and I've done it ever since
Ray's the kind of guy who actually backs up his talk too, @reese177!

inFound 212 old car ads in my grandpa's garage last weekend and I'm only through half of them
212 old car ads is a goldmine. Half a box in one weekend means you're either reading every word or those things are packed tight. I'd be scanning for the weird stuff first, like tiny dealerships that don't exist anymore.
