Hit 500 hours on my rebuild without a single oil leak

Just finished a post-run check on that 6.7 Powerstroke I rebuilt back in March. The oil pan, valve covers, and turbo feed line are all bone dry. I was sure I'd see at least a little seepage by now, given how much I rushed the rear main seal install. It's a small thing, but after three previous jobs that all dripped within the first hundred hours, it feels like a real corner turned. Anyone else have a specific seal or gasket that used to give them constant trouble before it finally clicked?

I felt so stupid. It was a $20 part and a 45 minute job if I had just looked closer first. How do you guys keep from getting tunnel vision on the obvious stuff?

But I've used a basic plastic folding table for all my projects, from fixing bikes to small engine repairs, and it hasn't let me down.
