That hinge pin I forged from scratch actually swings smooth now
After filing it down a bit more, it finally moves without any grind or catch.

Ever think a premade pin was the only way to go? I used to, but then I tried what vera501 said and just kept going until it felt right in my hand. That feeling beats anything you can just buy.
