inSaw a guy cut in line at the self-checkout in Cincinnati yesterday
Ugh, that's the worst. I actually spoke up one time when a lady did that at my grocery store. I just said, "Excuse me, the line starts back here," and pointed. My heart was pounding, but she mumbled sorry and went to the back. It felt scary but also good to not just take it. What's the point of waiting if people can just skip?

inMy first real project crashed hard about a month ago
Heroku's free tier changes last year broke three of my projects the same way.

inMy neighbor in apartment 4B warned me about the paint stripper fumes
Yeah, paint stripper is no joke. My uncle tried to refinish an old dresser in his garage last summer with the door closed. He ended up feeling so dizzy he had to go lie down in the yard for an hour. That chemical smell just hangs in the air and gets into your lungs. Makes you wonder what we used to breathe in all the time before safety warnings.

inMy endless wait for a conclusion in that forum bonds debate.
Totally get that, @wells.morgan. I've been in a few threads where I could guess who posted before even seeing the name. It really does become its own little soap opera you keep checking on.

inGot a call for a dead PC at a small law office downtown
Last year I had a client with a custom water loop that wouldn't post. Spent an hour checking everything before I saw the tiny reset switch was stuck down inside its own housing. Honestly felt like a total idiot. It was just a piece of plastic flashing from the manufacturing process. A quick poke with a paperclip freed it up and the system fired right up. Tbh those little physical things get me more than actual part failures sometimes.
