Hand-stitching a signature for a repair job took me three tries

Every time I figured it was good, the thread tension was off. Spent more time fixing my mistakes than the actual binding. So frustrating.

Used to find that kind of work tedious, but now it feels different somehow.

Actually i kinda get that. Maybe it's not the work that changed, just how you see it now. Like your approach is different so it FEELS different.
