inI chose to paint my kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them and it saved me a ton
Wow, I always thought it was just the base coat but you're totally right.

inWarning: I keep seeing artists post their showcase work at 72 DPI and it's making everything look fuzzy on big screens.
Yeah, the whole "showcase work at 72 DPI" thing is a real problem. I read a blog post once that called it a zombie rule from the early web. It said your screen doesn't even see DPI, it sees pixel dimensions. So if someone makes a 1000 pixel wide image at 72 DPI, it's the same as a 1000 pixel wide image at 300 DPI on a monitor. The fuzziness happens when that 1000 pixel image gets stretched to fill a 4K screen. Artists should just save their work at the actual pixel size it will be viewed at.

inSwitched from a straight razor to a shavette for my neckline fades about 6 months ago
Wait, so you're saying the shorter blade is actually better for control? I always figured a full straight razor was the real pro move. But that pivot point logic is solid. How's the learning curve compared to a regular straight razor? I'd be worried about nicking myself more with a shorter blade.

inSaw a new apartment building going up in Boise and the site office was just a tablet on a tripod
Honestly, what happens when that tablet battery dies or the internet drops out? Tbh that's a lot of trust in one piece of gear.

inUnpopular opinion: I find processing moon photos WAY more satisfying than capturing them.
Wavelet sharpening in Registax is a game changer for sure. I always start with layer 1 and 2 to bring out the fine details without making it look fake. Spent way too many nights on that lol.
