inMy son pointed out my cable nest behind the TV and I finally listened
Holding off on fixing it means you get the satisfaction of one final purge rather than dealing with it a little at a time. Nothing wrong with waiting until someone calls you out.

inDid that fancy kitchen faucet really save me money or was it a waste?
Fancy stuff always looks good on paper but starts acting up once you get used to it.

inOld foreman told me to grease the boom pins every single day...
Little telehandlers are nothing like big crane booms.

inI finally figured out why my post holes kept caving in on a rocky slope near Chattanooga
Wet ground and a clamshell digger... that's exactly what I ended up doing on a job near Knoxville last year. The trick for me was letting the water soak in for 15 minutes before even touching the shovel. Saved me from fighting with collapsing walls every few inches.

inJust realized I've been wrecking my bookcloth with the wrong glue
Dude, same thing happened to me last year with some expensive Italian bookcloth. Thought I was being smart using my standard PVA and ended up with this nasty, uneven blotchy mess that looked like water damage. So frustrating when you think you're doing everything right and then you find out there's some secret handshake for the right glue. Lineco is legit though, that's what I switched to after that disaster and it's way more forgiving. I also started keeping a scrap bin specifically for glue tests, learned that lesson the hard way after wasting like $40 worth of fabric. The paste mix thing scares me a bit cause I'm too impatient for slow drying stuff but at least now we know better.
