inUnpopular opinion: I was using way too much heat on aluminum panels for years
Nah, you just need more practice with the torch. I run mine hot on aluminum all the time and it comes out fine.

inTIL a simple resume formatting thing cost me a whole afternoon
The other day I saw a guy at the grocery store drop a whole carton of eggs. He just stared at it for a solid ten seconds before cleaning it up. That moment of total pause after something goes wrong, it's everywhere. You see it when a text sends too early, or a coffee cup tips over. It's like our brains need a full system reboot to process the small disaster before we can even move.

inHad to pick between a fixer-upper with a big yard and a move-in ready condo
Missing a garage in Denver means my car doors have frozen shut three times this winter already. I keep my ice scraper in the hallway like some kind of sad trophy. The condo life is fine, but I'd trade my fancy new dishwasher for a dry place to store a lawnmower I don't even own anymore. At least I'm not pouring money into a foundation pit, so I guess I'll just keep chipping ice and complaining about it.

inUnpopular opinion: I think the OEM water pump on the 6.7 Cummins is actually a weak point, but my boss swears by them.
My buddy's 6.7 in Cheyenne lost its pump at like 110k. I mean, maybe it's just me but that altitude thing makes sense. Stuff just cooks up there.

inMy Google Ads campaign for a Denver bakery somehow targeted people looking for divorce lawyers
Honestly, I was a big broad match guy for years, thought more clicks were always better. Then my ad for hiking boots showed up for "court orders" because I used "trail" as a keyword. Turns out people search "trail" for legal stuff. That wasted budget was a real wake up call. I stick to phrase match now for anything that could have a double meaning.
