Switched our shop's guest wifi to a $20 travel router and got faster speeds, what am I missing here
Our waiting area wifi was crawling at 3 Mbps so I unplugged the old access point and hooked up a $20 travel router I had in my bag from a trip to Omaha. Now customers get 60 Mbps but I keep wondering if it's actually stable under a full room, since it hasn't been tested with more than four people on it. Has anyone run a cheap router like this for a small storefront and did it hold up, or should I be looking at something meant for business use?
