inI used to think those fancy Japanese water stones were just hype
Saw a sharpening video that said grit progression matters more than brand. A cheap stone can work if you know how to finish it right. The real trick is learning the technique, not just buying the expensive gear.

inI used a font from a 1970s cookbook for a client's logo and it worked way better than expected.
Guess I should hit more garage sales and less design blogs, lmao. The_anna has a point about luck, but finding that weird, perfect thing feels like a win anyway. My best stuff usually comes from looking in the wrong places.

Mold is the worst. Maybe try poking more holes in the bottom next time for better drainage.
