My kitchen herbs keep wilting in the dim corner

Yeah, I've murdered more herbs in shady spots than I'd like to admit. My rosemary looked so sad it made me feel guilty. Nancy's totally right, most herbs just won't work there. A snake plant or a pothos is the way to go, they're tough and don't need much. I have a ZZ plant in my dark bathroom that's practically fake it's so low effort. A cheap grow light could save your herb dreams, but honestly, the easy plants are less stress.

Unpopular opinion: My attempt at hand-engraving a tiny inscription turned into a month-long saga of eye strain and regret.

Seriously, everything's a medical crisis now.

Pro tip: Presenting digital art to my in-laws went hilariously wrong

You're right, in-laws are only from marriage. I saw a discussion online where people were confused about this too. They said your own parents aren't in-laws, but your spouse's parents are. It's a simple idea but gets mixed up a lot, lol. The humor in the original post still stands though.

My block's garage sales are full of old treadmills now

Seriously! I sold my bulky rowing machine last year and never looked back. All I do now is push-ups, squats, and pull-ups on a bar in my doorway. My joints feel better and I'm not stuck in one spot staring at a wall. It just feels more natural to move my own body weight around. What kind of bodyweight stuff are you doing?

Ngl, my pie crusts were always overdone on the bottom until I tried this simple trick

Hear your point, @jackson.sarah, but my aluminum sheet never warps! I use it all the time for baking and it stays perfectly flat. That quick heat up actually helps me get a crisp crust faster. A heavier pan would slow down my whole process and I don't need that. I just make sure to preheat it well and it works like a charm every single time. So for my routine, the thin sheet is totally reliable!
