My friend's blog went from 10 to 500 daily visits in three months

He started a blog about fixing old radios back in January. For the first two months, he was stuck at maybe 10 visits a day. Then in March, he wrote a detailed guide on restoring a specific 1970s Panasonic model. He posted that guide on a hobbyist forum in Chicago and linked to it. Within a week, his daily visits jumped to over 100, and now he's hitting 500. It seems that one really specific, helpful post shared in the right place made all the difference. Has anyone else seen a big jump from a single piece of content?

That "single piece of content" idea misses the work before it... he spent two months building the blog first. The guide worked because he already had a real site to link to, not the other way around.

Wait, two whole months just for the blog?

Man, that hits close to home. I totally get the feeling of putting in work for what seems like no one. Those first two months of just talking to yourself are so tough. It really does feel like that one good break, that one helpful post, can change everything. Good for him for sticking with it.
