Whoa, that's a new level of creepy. Getting a scam text from your own number would totally mess with your head for a second. I haven't seen that one yet, but it sounds like the worst kind of spam.

Man, that hits home. My oven was basically a mystery box for years. I'd put in what should have been perfect garlic bread and get a sad, pale slab, or crank it for pizza and end up with a charcoal frisbee. @ivan211 is right about the burning thing, my broiler setting was a total war crime.
