Had a governor rope jump the sheave in a 30 story building last Tuesday. The noise was something else.

Did everyone on site have to stop work for that? I can only imagine the cleanup.

Did everyone have to stop work" is what hit me. Honestly? I used to think safety shutdowns were overkill. @riverp37 But after watching a beam swing loose last year - whole crew had to evacuate for three hours while they secured it - I get it now. That cleanup took two days with a crane and four guys in harnesses. Changed my whole view on why they call a full stop.
