Bro that's the worst. Had a lady once try to pass off a clearly cracked plate as "just a hairline thing". Like ma'am, I can see the salsa through it. Felt so slimy just boxing it up like nothing was wrong, but arguing felt worse. This job makes you complicit in so much dumb stuff.

Used to skip borescopes thinking they were a hassle. Learned my lesson after missing a problem that cost me a weekend. Now I feel like an idiot for ever avoiding them.
