DAE remember when I thought paying a broker for car shipping was a scam, then ate my words
I used to hunt down private carriers myself for every move between Austin and Denver, but after a guy flaked on me with a 3-day no-show at 11pm before a job start, I now just pay a broker the extra $150 and let them handle the dispatch headaches.

How did you pick the broker though? That's the part that scares me, since half of them seem to just post your load and take a cut. Did you go off reviews or just try one and hope for the best?
