inJust realized how much a good forge setup changes your day
Saw a video where a guy was comparing heat zones in his new gas forge. He could hold a piece in the blue flame for a quick heat and shift it to a cooler spot to stop it burning. The clean up looked way easier too, just brushing out scale instead of shoveling ash. Makes me wonder if the switch is worth it for smaller projects.

inOverheard a guy at the sale in Everett say he'd never buy a tool without a story
That "story" thing just sounds like hoarding with extra steps.

Trust me, it's a total game changer for any straight lines.

inMy kitchen drawer fell off its tracks while I was making breakfast this morning.
Actually had that happen mid dinner prep once. It's a bigger deal when you're covered in flour and the whole thing gives out. Not just a quick hardware store trip.

inTIL a trick for cleaning up old caulk lines from a painter at a job site
Oh man, that drywall knife trick is brilliant. It's exactly like @sean_murray said, you learn the best fixes from watching other people work. Those little tricks make a tough job way easier.
