Changed my tune on that fancy knee kicker after a job in Spokane

I dropped about $350 on a high-end power stretcher last year, thinking my old knee kicker was fine. Then I got a big job in a Spokane split-level, all tight hallways and angles. The kicker just would not set the carpet right in the back rooms, kept getting little ripples. Switched to the power stretcher halfway through and it was night and day, got a perfect stretch in half the time. That one tool saved me from a callback and probably two extra hours of work. Anyone else find a specific tool that turned a bad job around?
