My cousin swore I was sleeping on 'The Great Escape' by Blur from 1995
He said the singles were overplayed but the deep cuts were the real deal, so I finally gave it a full listen last week. Turns out 'Top Man' and 'Ernold Same' are way better than 'Country House' and the whole album is a weird, smart mess that got lost in the Britpop wars. Anyone else have an album where the filler is actually the good stuff?
