My cousin swore I was sleeping on 'The Great Escape' by Blur from 1995

He said the singles were overplayed but the deep cuts were the real deal, so I finally gave it a full listen last week. Turns out 'Top Man' and 'Ernold Same' are way better than 'Country House' and the whole album is a weird, smart mess that got lost in the Britpop wars. Anyone else have an album where the filler is actually the good stuff?

Remember when filler tracks were just better songs?

Filler tracks" is such a weird way to put it. They were just... songs on the album. The whole thing was meant to be listened to.

Half those old album tracks hit harder than the singles today.
