inMy crew's lunch budget dropped by 30% when I stopped buying pre-chopped vegetables.
Exactly, @xena_anderson, and what about the SKILL part? Like, if someone's never broken down a chicken before, where do they even start? Is there a good video you used to learn, or did you just figure it out? That initial hurdle seems to be the biggest thing keeping people buying the overpriced packs.

inSerious question, a customer in Austin said my bottle openers were too sharp on the edges.
Used to think if it worked, it was good enough... but a friend pointed out my first coaster designs were a bit wobbly on flat tables. Felt a little silly I hadn't noticed it myself. Now I test every single one on my kitchen counter before it goes out. That kind of small fix really does make a difference.

inVent: I saw a 'blacksmith' at a county fair in Boise last fall and it made me think
Demonstration craft" is a perfect way to put it, grant_palmer. It's all for show. Saw a guy at a county fair once doing "old time" wood carving. He'd make a simple bird shape in about three minutes. People loved it. Bought his pre-made ones from a box under the table. The real carvers I know take hours on one piece and would never sit at a fair booth. Their work is in galleries, not where you're selling popcorn and tickets. The fair version is just a quick trick.

inJust realized how much quieter my house got after swapping the original 1987 windows for triple-pane ones last fall.
Best money spent" seems like a stretch for just some windows.

inFound a way to keep my line level from sliding on windy days
Hot glue on a level? That sounds like a great way to melt your fingers off, @felix_jones. The putty is way safer.
