inFound a hidden gem at the estate sale on Maple Street in Everett
Isn't it a bit wrong to feel good about that find? The family clearly didn't know what they had, and you got a deal because of their lack of knowledge. It feels like taking advantage when someone is selling off a loved one's things, especially in a stressful time. I've seen people brag about similar scores, but it just leaves a bad taste, like you're profiting from someone else's loss.

inMy boss in 2015 said my resume looked like a phone book
That phone book comment hits home. My old manager once told me my resume read like a grocery list of tasks, not a story of what I actually did. Made me rethink the whole thing.

inMy local shop had a huge sale and it turned into a total mess
That "last bottle of water" feeling is everywhere now, from concert tickets to grocery store coupons. Scarcity just makes people lose their minds.

inVisited the old Carter Mill in Vermont and the second floor is starting to buckle inward.
My cousin took photos of that exact mill last fall and the wooden beams already looked pretty rough. It's sad to see these old places slowly give in to time and weather. I always worry about vandals or kids going inside when a structure gets that unsafe. Maybe the local historical society needs to put up stronger fencing. Do you know if anyone has reported the buckling to the town?
