A raccoon unplugged my 100W charger at a campground near Asheville and I've been paranoid ever since
Two summers ago I was car camping at Lake Powhatan near Asheville with my Anker 100W brick and a 6ft cable running into the tent so I could charge my phone overnight. Around 3am I hear rustling and my phone stops charging, and this fat raccoon is just sitting there holding my USB-C cable like it's a french fry. Didn't damage anything, but now I coil every cable inside the tent and I still check the connection like 4 times before bed. Anyone else had wildlife mess with their charge setup?
Something about raccoons and cords man, they just love them. Had one chew through my phone cable at a site in Tennessee last fall, didn't even want the phone, just the wire I guess. Now everything sleeps in the car with me, no exceptions.
