inMy runny buttercream firmed up after a brief fridge visit.
Actually @the_jessica, chilling it too much ruins the texture.

inWhy does nobody talk about humidity wrecking meringue?
I always thought failed meringue was just a matter of technique or a dirty bowl. A truly humid day showed me how wrong that was. My perfect peaks just wilted into a puddle in the mixing bowl before it even reached the oven. That one soupy disaster made the connection completely clear. Now checking the humidity is as automatic as turning on the oven. It's a basic rule that changed my whole approach.

inI avoided loops for ages (they confused me) but not anymore.
Yeah that "half as long" thing is so real. I was copying and pasting the same line of code like ten times before. Learning loops just meant changing one number instead of editing every single pasted line. Saves a dumb amount of time.

inDAE try using only a carry-on for long vacations?
Packing for a 10-day trip to Spain with just a carry-on seemed impossible at first... I used to bring a huge suitcase for every vacation. But rolling clothes tight instead of folding them changed everything for me. Sticking to mostly black and gray items let me mix and match outfits easily. I also wore my heaviest shoes and jacket on the plane to save room. Now I can't imagine going back to checking a bag, even for long trips.

inShowerthought: Found an old pic of my dad's balcony tomatoes
Forget buying more plastic pots, coffee cans are FREE and work fine. Drill some holes in the bottom, it takes two minutes. People grew food in way worse for centuries. All this special gear just makes gardening feel HARD and expensive when it shouldn't be. Your dad was on the right track, the plants probably just needed more sun or water.
