Rant: A simple extractor pin cost me a whole afternoon
I had a customer's old Winchester 94 come in with a stuck case. Figured it was a quick job, maybe 30 minutes. The extractor pin was frozen solid. I tried heat, oil, a punch, even a small press. Nothing moved it. Ended up having to drill it out, which took over 3 hours because I had to be so careful not to damage the bolt. Some guys say to just soak it for days, others say heat is the only way. What's your go-to method for a truly seized pin that won't budge?

A whole week though. That seems like a lot. How stuck was this thing?
