My brother called my new smartwatch a 'glorified pedometer' at the family cookout.
He was grilling burgers in Austin and said, 'You paid $400 for something that tells you to stand up?' Has anyone else had a gadget totally dismissed by family?

My uncle still calls my laptop a fancy typewriter. Some people just enjoy being wrong about technology. At least your watch can't get burger grease on it.

Tell him to check his cholesterol on that fancy grill. My dad said the same thing about my watch until it caught his weird heart rhythm. Now he asks for my step count every Sunday.
