Serious question, has anyone else completely dropped Facebook ads after a conference in Chicago?

I saw a talk there where a guy showed his $50k ad spend only got 3 real sales. I've moved that budget to email and it's working way better.

That $50k number is shocking. What kind of products was the speaker trying to sell?

Wow, that's brutal. I read a blog post about how Facebook's targeting just isn't what it used to be. Makes sense to shift that money somewhere you actually see a return.
