Ran a side-by-side test of UTM tagged links vs. plain links for 3 months

I sent out the same blog post to my email list with two different link formats. The UTM tagged links got 40% more clicks and I could actually see which social platform drove traffic. Has anyone else seen a big difference with UTM tags?

Well, isn't that just proof tracking actually works.

Man I saw this headline the other day and it just blew my mind how many people are against tracking things. Like yeah it sucks to get caught but that's the whole point lol. If you're not doing anything wrong then what's the big deal? I read this article that said shoplifting is way down in stores that actually use those license plate scanners in the parking lot. Not everyone out there is a criminal obviously but it's kinda wild to me that people think tracking is this huge invasion. How else are stores supposed to stop people from just walking out with stuff?
