Had to choose between two CRM platforms for my shop, picked the cheaper one

Went with a $50/month option over the $200 one because my margins are tight on handmade goods, and now I'm drowning in manual follow-ups because the automation is garbage. Anyone else regret going budget on a tool that's supposed to save you time?

Our shop used the $29 one a few years back and I was all "we're being smart with money." Ended up spending so many hours doing the stuff the software was supposed to do that I wouldve been better off paying the extra $150 a month and getting those hours back. My time is worth something too you know. I learned that lesson the hard way when I missed a big order followup because their automation was so clunky.

You get what you pay for most times. Tools cost more for a reason.
