Tried an AI content tool for 3 months and watched my blog traffic tank 40%

I jumped on the AI bandwagon back in February for a home services blog I run on the side. Pumped out like 30 posts using one of those tools, thinking I was saving hours. By the end of April my organic traffic dropped from around 2,000 visitors a month to barely 1,200. Google must have flagged something because I noticed my pages were drifting from the first page to way back. I had to go back and rewrite half of them manually to fix the tone and add real examples from jobs I've done. The whole experiment cost me about $150 in subscription fees and a ton of lost momentum. Has anyone else seen their rankings fall off after going heavy on AI content?

My neighbor tried that and his cat started using the keyboard.

@troy996 bet the cat was better at typing than the neighbor.
