I finally figured out why that 9/11 documentary felt wrong

Watched the 2006 film 'Loose Change' again last week after seeing a clip on a forum. The big change for me was looking up the actual NIST report on the Twin Towers collapse, specifically the part about the steel temperatures. The film says the steel couldn't melt, but the report shows it only needed to weaken, which happened around 1,100 degrees Fahrenheit. Has anyone else actually read the official reports they argue against?

What finally clicked for you? I had the same thing happen after reading the NIST report myself... the film makes it sound impossible, but the actual data about steel losing strength at high heat made way more sense.

Wow, I used to believe that too until I looked it up.
