Actually my buddy in concrete says they process it to round the edges, @margaret_nelson.

Ever wonder if the rounded edges really fix the dust problem? We used processed glass in a walkway and it still tracked fine grit indoors, so @margaret_nelson's safety worry might shift from cuts to dust control. That grit gets everywhere.
