Stopped taking notes by hand and switched to typing everything in class halfway through last semester

My wrist was killing me after two hours of Econ 201 lectures so I tried typing on a cheap Chromebook and now I actually keep up with what the professor is saying instead of just writing down random words anyone else ditch the notebook?

Used to be a hardcore notebook person, swore I'd never switch. But then my hand started cramping halfway through every single stats lecture and I caved. Got a cheap little bluetooth keyboard for my tablet and honestly it's night and day. I actually catch what the professor says now instead of missing half the lecture while my hand tries to catch up.

Started carrying a split keyboard to class last semester and it changed everything. My wrists don't ache anymore and I can type way faster than I ever wrote. The funny thing is I actually remember more now because I'm not struggling to scribble down every single word. My stats professor talks fast and I used to just give up on half the equations. Now I can keep up and even ask questions because I'm not three lines behind. It's not for everyone but the ergonomics alone made it worth it for me.
