My morning pour over turned into a total mess on Tuesday

I was rushing to get out the door and poured my water way too fast, basically flooding the grounds. The coffee tasted super bitter and weak at the same time, which I didn't think was possible. It ruined my whole morning vibe before a big meeting. What's your go-to method when you're in a hurry but still want a decent cup?

My old French press broke last year, and I switched to a simple metal pour over cone. It's much more forgiving when I'm half awake.
