Appreciation post: when the tool changer scared me half to death
Was running a batch of 50 aluminum parts on my Haas last Tuesday and the tool changer dropped a #4 end mill right into the middle of a cut. Scraped the part and shot a chip into my arm, but I got the machine stopped before it wrecked the spindle. Has anyone else had a tool changer glitch like that on a newer machine?

Three Haas machines in my shop and every single one has had a tool changer hiccup around the 50,000 cycle mark. It's like that weird pattern where everything in life breaks right when you're in a groove.
