My city council voted to kill the new bike lanes last week
They said it was about traffic flow, but the real reason was pushback from three car dealerships. Now our plan to cut downtown car trips by 15% is dead. How do you fight local money stopping green projects?

Actually, the plan isn't dead, just delayed. You can fight it by showing the council more public support than the dealers have money.

Just annoys my cat" made me laugh. Best I can do is leave my bike stuff by the front door so he can sleep on it.
