Spotted a $5 'ugly produce' box at the Kroger in Dayton, and it's a total game changer for cutting my veggie costs.
The box was hidden near the back of the produce section and had enough peppers, onions, and potatoes for my meals all week, saving me at least $15 compared to buying everything separately.

That Kroger in Dayton is on my route. Do they usually have those boxes in stock, or was it a one-time lucky find?

My buddy grabbed one there last month, but he said the stock comes and goes. He had to ask an employee to check the back, fiona502, and they found a couple more. Might be worth calling ahead if you're making a special trip.
