DAE feel guilty about having a shelf of shame for unplayed games?

Maybe it's just me, but staring at my collection and knowing I haven't touched half of it gives me anxiety, idk.

Ever notice how this is basically the same feeling as having a fridge full of food but still ordering takeout? We buy options for a future self that's too tired to even choose. The guilt is just interest on a debt of free time we never actually have.

Understand exactly what you mean, my shelf of shame is a real mood killer... I keep adding to it every sale, like I'm collecting trophies I'll never use... Makes me wonder why I even bother buying them sometimes.

My Steam library hit 400 games last sale and the weight is REAL. That excitement you felt buying them slowly turns into this weird background guilt, like a chore list made of fun. The wild part is I'll still browse for new games while ignoring dozens I already own.
