Why does nobody talk about posting at 4am on a weekday
I started posting my woodworking photos at 4am Tuesday morning instead of my usual evening slot and my reach jumped by 300 percent without changing a thing. The algorithm seemed to favor those early posts while I was asleep, maybe because there was less competition for attention. Has anyone else found a weird time slot that works better than the standard advice?

4am isn't really a hidden secret, most platforms show your post to timezone followers first and the early crowd tends to engage more. Your reach probably jumped because there's way less competition at that hour, not because the algorithm loves you more. It's still smart to test off hours if your audience can handle seeing it later in their day.

4am crew checking in, @jakewhite is right about less competition being the real factor lol. Ran a gardening page for a bit and my Saturday 2am posts would crush while my Tuesday 8am ones flopped. The weird hours just let you catch the early risers before the feed gets flooded.
