I finally bought a proper hot towel cabinet for the shop
It was about $150 and I got it online. I used to just microwave damp towels, but they cooled down too fast and felt uneven. This thing keeps six towels steaming hot all day, and clients love the feel. What's a good brand for replacement towels that hold heat well?

Look for the 100% cotton ones, they soak up water and hold heat way better than the blends. The cheap packs on Amazon work fine but they do wear out faster. Just get a couple extra so you always have a fresh set ready to go.

Honestly @dylan_patel is right about cotton being better, but those cheap Amazon packs can be a total gamble. I got some that said 100% cotton and they were super thin, almost see-through. They fell apart after like three washes. Tbh you're better off checking a hardware store or even a big box store for the basic ones. They cost a bit more but they last way longer without getting all pilly and thin.
