Am I the only one who thinks The Room is overrated for bad movie night

I swear everyone acts like The Room is the holy grail of so bad its good movies but I just dont get it. We watched it with 8 friends last month and half of us were bored by the 45 minute mark because its just sad and slow not fun. Dont get me wrong the football scene is gold but the rest drags so bad. I actually got more laughs out of Birdemic with its terrible CGI birds and weird acting. Has anyone else found a bad movie that actually keeps the energy up the whole time?

Does Miami Connection keep being fun if you watch it sober, or do you need a few drinks?

34 minutes is where I tapped out during The Room actually. That first awkward sex scene went on forever and I just couldnt take it seriously anymore. Birdemic is way more fun because its stupid the whole way through without any sad pauses. My go-to for bad movie night is Miami Connection, the fights and music keep it moving and its never boring. The Room has maybe two decent parts but the rest is a slog, I totally get where you are coming from.
