I used to skip the oil spray in air fryer recipes, but not anymore
I thought spraying oil was just a messy extra step that didn't matter. My veggies always stuck to the basket and came out uneven. Then I tried a light spray on some broccoli, and it crisped up perfectly without sticking. Now I see it helps everything cook evenly. I'm never skipping it again.

Totally feel you on the veggies sticking. My asparagus was always a mess until I gave it a quick spray too.

Oh man, I tried that once with sweet potato fries. They basically welded themselves to the pan. I had to soak the thing for an hour and still had to scrub. Now I just use a tiny bit of oil, like a teaspoon, and it's a total game changer. My veggies actually get crispy instead of just burnt on one side.
